NFP with temperature reading

Books about NFP
The classical natural family planning method (NFP) with temperature reading is nearly as safe as the pill and an excellent alternative contraception without having to rely on hormones. In addition to temperatue it uses the mucus and the cervix obervation enabling it to determine the ovulation date with highest accuracy.
You will find out that temperature reading permits much easier and clearer conclusions about fertility than the sole use of the mucus method. As a consequence the sympto-thermal family planning method (t.i. the combination of temperature, mucus and cervix observation) is highly effective and leads to being able to determine 80-90% of the infertile days during a cycle (around 18 days in a 28 days cycle). What you have to do to achieve these results is to daily read your temperature (at a set time) and to learn how to interpret the data.
If you are using the classical NFP you usually don't need PERIMON any more because you will draw charts with pencil on paper. Yet you should absolutely study the rules of NFP. On our English book page we compiled a list with books about NFP that will help you to learn how to use it as well as to undesignedly inform yourself about NFP.
Since some time you can also buy contraception computers that do the work for the woman regarding noting and analysing the cycle data. These and further products (thermometer etc.) you find in our online store.
We are not really into the English NFP scene on the web and can therefore not provide high quality links about Natural Family Planning. Instead you are very much invited to mail us some suggestions of web pages about and around NFP. We will publish them willingly.
